Our efforts to reduce noise levels at the Ford Otosan Gölcük Factory Press Workshop are progressing successfully. In the initial phase, a noise mapping analysis was conducted to identify the primary noise sources on-site, revealing that the enclosures around the press machines provided insufficient insulation.
While the initial plan was to replace all enclosures, Pechom proposed a more efficient and cost-effective solution. Through a detailed examination using an acoustic camera, we identified noise leaks primarily occurring from the ceiling areas and side openings. Further finite element simulations confirmed that targeted interventions at these specific leakage points would be sufficient to achieve the desired noise reduction.
To date, we have successfully completed noise reduction projects for three press machines, and work is ongoing for the final press. Upon completion, the Press Workshop will reach the targeted noise levels.
At Pechom, we remain committed to providing scientific and innovative noise control solutions for industrial facilities!
