Successful Acoustic Cabin Solution for Hitachi Energy Transformers
We have successfully completed another project with our innovative acoustic cabin solutions! We have achieved great success by designing a special acoustic cabin to reduce the noise generated by the transformers installed in front of two hotels belonging to Hitachi Energy in Qatar.
Project Details and Success Story In the initial noise measurements made at the beginning, it was determined that the sound level of the transformers was 74 dB. In order for the noise not to negatively affect the comfort level of the environment, we managed to reduce this level to 60 dB thanks to the acoustic cabin we specially designed.
Considering the hot climate conditions of Qatar, sufficient air flow was provided by using acoustic vents with angles and special designs that will not allow leakage in order to prevent overheating of the transformers. In addition, air circulation was supported by silent fans to ensure optimum operation of the system.
Special Design and First Application Within the scope of this project, such an acoustic cabin design was realized and implemented for the first time for transformers installed on site and having many exceptional features. Our special design provided a unique solution by ensuring both sound insulation and trouble-free operation of the equipment.
Step by Step Project Process
- In the first stage, the noise level was measured at frequency within the scope of field studies.
- Acoustic analyses were performed based on the obtained data.
- Acoustic cabin design was made.
- The field installation process was successfully completed.
- Finally, the targeted sound reduction was verified and reported by performing sound spectrum analysis.
